Ingredients

  • 2 (3 ounce) packages jello gelatin, raspberry
  • 3 cups apple , hot
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup miracle whip
  • 1 cup apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 cup celery, finely diced
  • 1 cup mincemeat, prepared

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve jello in .
  • 2 mix other ingredients into the jello mixture.
  • 3 chill in refrigerator at least 4 hours.

Sinus Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 camomile tea bag
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon apple vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated gingerroot
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 cup near-boiling water

Recipe

  • 1 add everything to the hot water, using a tea ball or strainer to contain the ginger.
  • 2 cover and steep for about three minutes.
  • 3 stir and drink as often as possible throughout the day while you are sick.

Sirloin Steak 'n Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, divided
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper, plus
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper, divided
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless sirloin steaks, about 1 1/2 inches thick
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 medium red onion, cut into 6 wedges
  • 1 yellow onion, cut into 6 wedges
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • mashed potatoes, boxed or homemade

Recipe

  • 1 position broiler rack so that top of meat in pan will be 4" from the heat source; or cook on grill, preheat broiler or grill.
  • 2 combine oil, minced onion, 3/4 teaspoon garlic, 1/2 teaspoon rosemary, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper, brush over one side of steak.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon flax seed meal
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons skim milk
  • 2 teaspoons unsweetened applesauce

Recipe

  • 1 in microwavable coffee mug, ramekin, or custard dish, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and flax meal (i used a custard dish).
  • 2 in another coffee mug (etc), mix brown sugar, oil, milk, and applesauce.
  • 3 pour wet ingredients into dry, and mix thoroughly.
  • 4 microwave on medium power for 2 minutes (cooking time may be different with different microwaves; 2 minutes is just what worked for me).
  • 5 muffin will be done when toothpick inserted near middle comes out clean.
  • 6 i put some applesauce on top and just ate it with a spoon right out of the custard dish.

Siniahs Spicy Omelet

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 fresh chili peppers, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coriander, chopped
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander (cilantro)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 small onions, finely sliced
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 put coconut,cumin, coriander, chili, turmeric and garam masala into a blender with the water. blend to a paste.
  • 2 whisk the eggs and add the onion, green chillies, pepper and coriander leaves. mix well.
  • 3 heat the oil in a frying pan and make a thin omelet with the egg mixture.remove from pan and allow to cool.
  • 4 cut the omelet into 1-inch wide strips, roll the strips up into individual rolls.
  • 5 fry the onions in a little oil till golden brown, add the spice paste and cook for 3 minutes, do not allow the paste to stick to the pan, add a little oil or water if the paste starts to stick.
  • 6 add the green chillies and tomatoes, cook for 5 minutes add the vinegar, salt and 3 cups of water simmer for 10 minutes add the coriander leaves and omelet rolls and cook over low heat 3 minutes.
  • 7 serve with curry and boiled rice.

Sirloin Steak With Blue Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons half-and-half or 1 1/2 tablespoons light cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 lbs sirloin steaks

Recipe

  • 1 combine blue cheese, ricotta cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, half-and-half, worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper in medium mixing bowl. chill.
  • 2 preheat grill or broiler. grill sirloin steak to desired doneness; thinly slice. serve with blue cheese sauce.
  • 3 note: sauce can also be used as a dip for raw vegetables or chips or as salad dressing.

Single Rise Easy Wheat/white Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups hot water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons yeast
  • 4 cups hot water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup powdered soy protein concentrate
  • 1 teaspoon vitamin c powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 8 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 cups white flour

Recipe

  • 1 stir together 1-1/3 cup hot water, 2 tbs honey, and yeast. let work for five minutes.
  • 2 in large bowl mix together 4 cups hot water, oil, 1/2 cup honey.
  • 3 blend in soy powder, vitamin c crystals, salt, 4 cups of the whole wheat flour and 2 cups of the white flour.
  • 4 then blend in yeast mixture and 4 more cups wheat flour and two more cups white flour. get a sticky dough consistency.
  • 5 knead on lightly oiled board for 20 minutes (or 10 minutes in machine with bread hook - dough should just clean sides of machine bowl).
  • 6 shape 6 loaves and let rise under warm damp towel inside 80 degree oven (i just turn mine on for a minute and then turn it back off). let rise for 20-25 minutes.
  • 7 take out of oven and preheat to 365 degrees.
  • 8 bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • 9 remove immediately from pans, put on cooling racks and brush tops with olive oil.
