Slow Cooked / Crock Pot Pulled Lamb

Total Time: 6 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 4 lbs boneless lamb shoulder, fat removed (*have butcher trim, separate bone and tie with twine)
  • 1/4 cup water, can use
  • 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup apple vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup light molasses (mild)
  • 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, finely ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring, i do not use
  • 16 soft buns, regular
  • 1 pint creamy coleslaw, for topping your pulled lamb

Recipe

  • 1 switch on the crockpot to the low setting.
  • 2 combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl (except lamb).
  • 3 place lamb shoulder in crock pot. pour sauce over lamb to coat.
  • 4 cover and cook with lid on for approximately 8-10 hours on low or overnight. cook until very tender and falling apart. *i often do this overnight.
  • 5 remove lamb from crock and cool enough for handling. when cooled, pull apart with fingers or forks. put back in crock, keep warm until ready to serve.
  • 6 for a thicker sauce, add 1/2 c ketchup and 1/2 c your favorite bbq sauce.
  • 7 serve on soft buns and smother with a creamy coleslaw simple creamy cole slaw just like mama maria makes.

Slow Cooked Yo Ho Ho Saucy Wench

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 boneless chicken breast fillets (no cross bones or skin)
  • flour (fer dredging)
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil (for browning)
  • 15 ounces canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup asparagus (fresh or frozen)
  • 15 ounces canned peaches (juice of)
  • 1/4 cup (not fer drinking)
  • 2 tablespoons thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 3 ounces tomato paste
  • rice (for soaking up the stew) or pasta (for soaking up the stew)

Recipe

  • 1 cut chicken up into bite sized pieces.
  • 2 dredge chicken pieces in flour.
  • 3 brown chicken pieces on all sides in skillet with canola oil. should take about 10 minutes or so.
  • 4 remove from heat, remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • 5 drain juice from peaches and place in bottom of crock-pot. reserve peaches.
  • 6 in blender, blend , peaches, tomato paste, cumin, chili powder and thai sweet chili sauce together for 1-2 minutes.
  • 7 turn crock pot on low setting.
  • 8 chop up asparagus into bite sized pieces.
  • 9 add tomatoes to crock-pot, then add asparagus on top.
  • 10 next add chicken.
  • 11 pour peach mixture over top of chicken.
  • 12 cover and cook on low 7 hours.
  • 13 cook rice or pasta to package directions. serve stew on top of rice or pasta.

Slow Cooked Mushrooms

Total Time: 4 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 4 lbs fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • dry red , 1 bottle
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dill seed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 bring all ingredients to a boil over medium-high heat. reduce heat to medium-low, maintaining a slow boil. cook, stirring occasionally, 4 hours or until liquid is reduced to about 1 cup.

Slow Cooked Meatballs

Total Time: 8 hrs Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs hamburger
  • 2 lbs hot italian sausages
  • 1 cup progresso italian-style fine bread crumbs
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans olives
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans green olives
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans mixed mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic clove
  • 1/2 cup cooking
  • 24 ounces your favorite sauce

Recipe

  • 1 in large bowl combine hamburger, sausage, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, and italian seasonings with hands. "yes eww, but this is meatballs how you think you're making meatballs without using hands lol" form meat mixture into meatballs, and ether pan fry, or deep fry until nicely brown, and drain on paper towel. put meatballs, spaghetti sauce, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, and cooking in crock pot turned on low, and let cook a good 8 to 9 hours stir it once in a while during the day.

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb turkey sausage
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 -4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup sliced button mushroom
  • 1 bell pepper, seeded and chopped (red or green)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (use more or less to taste)
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes, with puree
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup red

Recipe

  • 1 brown crumbled sausage and add onions, garlic, mushrooms, and bell pepper.
  • 2 transfer meat and veggies to slowcooker and add in remaining ingredients.
  • 3 mix well.
  • 4 cook on low 6-8 hours.
  • 5 when done, sample the sauce and if it has a bitter taste, stir in a tb more sugar.
  • 6 serve over spaghetti or in any dish that calls for pasta sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1/2 lb hot italian turkey sausage, casings removed
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup, divided
  • 3/4 cup crushed butter flavored cracker
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard

Recipe

  • 1 place the potatoes ina 3 1/2 quart or larger slow cooker.
  • 2 in a large bowl, combine the beef, sausage, onion, 3/4 cup ketchup, the cracker crumbs, eggs and salt; mix well.
  • 3 place over the potatoes and pat down to form a loaf.
  • 4 in the same bowl, combine the brown sugar, mustard, and the remaining 3/4 cup ketchup; mix well.
  • 5 spread over the top of the loaf, cover, and cook on low setting for 6-10 hours.
  • 6 drain off the excess liquid and serve.

  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 3/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/3 cup potato starch
  • 1/4 cup arrowroot flour
  • 3 tablespoons tapioca flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 2 eggs

  • whisk almond milk, vinegar, and lemon juice together in a bowl; set aside for 10 minutes.
  • mix rice flour, potato starch, arrowroot flour, tapioca flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, xanthan gum, and salt together in a bowl. stir coconut oil into flour mixture using a fork until evenly combined. stir eggs into flour mixture.
  • whisk milk mixture into flour mixture until batter is thoroughly mixed.
  • heat a lightly oiled skillet or large pan over medium heat. pour 1/4 cup batter into the skillet and immediately rotate the skillet until the batter evenly coats the bottom in a thin layer. cook until the top of the crepe is no longer wet and the bottom has turned light brown, 2 to 3 minutes. run a spatula around the edge of the skillet to loosen; flip crepe and cook until the other side has turned light brown, 2 to 3 minutes. repeat with remaining batter.
