Soft Egg Custard

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 0.5 (300 ml) can regular eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 eggs, slightly beten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 combine eagle brand, water and salt in top of double boiler; gradually stir in eggs.
  • 2 cook over simmering water, stirring constantly, until mixture coats a spoon, about 20 minutes.
  • 3 remove from heat at once. cool quickly in a pan of cold water.
  • 4 stir in vanilla. pour into 4 dessert dishes. chill.
