Rosemary & Smoked Sea Salt Roasted Walnuts

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons walnut oil
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons smoked flaked sea salt (malden)
  • 4 cups walnuts, unsalted

Recipe

  • 1 pre-heat oven to 150c/300°f
  • 2 line a baking sheet with non-stick baking paper.
  • 3 put the walnuts into a large mixing bowl.
  • 4 in a small bowl, combine the walnut oil, rosemary, black pepper, and sea salt.
  • 5 pour the oil mixture over the walnuts and mix well until the walnuts are covered evenly.
  • 6 pour the walnuts onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • 7 bake for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring the walnuts regularly.
  • 8 allow the walnuts to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
