Root Beer Popcorn

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 6 quarts popped corn
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup light karo syrup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 -2 tablespoon root beer extract
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • nuts (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 bring first 6 ingredients barely to a boil. remove from heat. add last 2 ingredients & stir.
  • 2 pour over popped corn & mix well.
  • 3 bake 250º for one hour; stirring every 15 minute.
